I've been quite busy at work, and after almost 3 months I feel that I truly settled in my new routine. Being a tutor is a huge challenge, specially considering that I have no previous experience but I remain confident in myself and my abilities, also my students teach me a little every day.
Emotionally, I've been strong as ever with the exception a heightened sensitivity with causes me to cry very easily. It started when a dear friend of mine lost her SO and since then that event hasn't left my mind. I started to fear for my immediate family. I certainly have learned to cherish even more each and every moment I spend with my loved ones.
My holidays started in the beginning of December, I was supposed to work for two weeks, but I was told that the kids were (understandably) tired of tutoring lessons, so my holidays started a week earlier. The bad part is that because of this, I received 1/4 of what I usually earn. I spent a week with my boyfriend, (who still lives far away), then I visited my grandmother and finally the boy and I went to London to spend New Year's Eve with friends.
It was always moving around but I felt great when I got back!

This house is so cool!
I'm deffinetely doing some of these ideas at my future home, once I move out of my mum's apartment.
The only con is that I am a bit claustrophobic, so I would need a bit more space than this but not much more...

Sterilize for Cash: Paying Drug Addicts to Not Have Kids - TIME
I don't know what to make of this... One one hand, it's making sure that there are less addicted/disabled children that go into foster care, but on the other hand, what if these men/women get back on track and decide that they want children later in life???
